TEN COMMANDMENTS BROCHURES
We are almost finished with the printing of our brochures to be used in county-wide mail-outs. Keep listening for news of our first county-wide blitz!.
HISTORIC DISPLAYS
There is some work being done on developing a complete set of the Heritage displays that have now been made legal in our state. Mr. Simmons (designer of our Ten Commandments prints) is working on a set of documents that we will have available through TC-Ga very soon. This is very timely, because on July 1, H.B. 941 was signed into law, which allows and encourages the display of:
The Mayflower Compact 1620
The Ten Commandments
The Declaration of Independence
Magna Carta
'The Star-Spangled Banner' by Francis Scott Key
The national motto: 'In God We Trust'
The Preamble to the Georgia Constitution
The Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution
The description on the image of Lady Justice.
If you are interested in purchasing a copy of these documents, please email us. The prints will be listed on the website when they become available.
SPEAKING OPPORTUNITIES
I was very busy during the month of June month speaking on our work. I spoke in Seneca S.C. to the Oconee Ministerial Association. They are VERY interested in starting a S.C. chapter of Ten Commandments.
Liza, Jody and I went to the First Baptist Church of Social Circle to speak on the Ten Commandments. I preached in their Sunday evening service.
I finished out the month of June with a Big Ten Commandments emphasis at the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. I spoke on Wednesday and kicked-off their Ten Commandments week of emphasis, with Dr. Haun preaching on the Ten Commandments followed by a Patriotic musical that Sunday. They have ordered 600 yard signs and 800 prints to sell! Praise the Lord!
TEN COMMANDMENTS BOARD MEETING
We will have a Ten Commandments Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, August 21 at First Baptist Church, Bethlehem, GA. Pray for us as we seek God's directions for TC-GA.
ONE LAST WORD
Support. Now, more than ever we need your support. That support can be expressed in a variety of ways. You can pray for us. Indeed, I hope you have been remembering before the Lord. We cannot accomplish our mission unless the Lord provides the strength and direction. Secondly, you can be an active part of TC-GA. We need people on a county level who are willing to invest their time and energies in starting local TC chapters. Thirdly, and you knew it was coming - we need your financial support. It's been said that the best things in life are free - but I want you to know that there is a price for standing up for that which is right. Our Founding Fathers were willing to document the fact that they were pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honors (e.g. The Declaration of Independence). Can we do less? Please consider giving today to help make a difference for ours and future generations.
Pressing On for Christ,
